It is known that Microsoft has its own software, Windows 10 Mobile, that is slowly rolling out the Lumia devices, after it was introduced on the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. But if you keep in mind the “Nokia X” line of mid-range smartphones, then you recognize that they ran on a special platform, Google’s Android OS. It appears that Microsoft hasn’t learned from its failure and currently it’s making ready another Android smartphone, which will be called as Nokia C1.
Apparently, the Nokia C1 will be available in the market in two variants of sizes and one of the models can run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, while the other will come loaded with Windows 10, but it will be available only in selected markets. It’s a little early to know all the small details regarding this phone, But according to NokiaPowerUser, the smartphone can have a 5-inch screen and a 5.5-inch screen with a Full HD resolution.
GSMArena has posted online a few leaked pictures of the upcoming Nokia device, and its back appears to be product of plastic and can be available in four different colors (black, white, pink and pale orange), but only if Microsoft won’t change its mind and select different shades. The sides appear to be covered with a metal frame and the corners are rounded. GSMArena claims that the small version with a 5-inch screen can support a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels at 294 ppi, using the IPS technology which supplies colder tones. The phablet can most likely support a Full HD resolution, however nothing has been confirmed yet.
Also, the smaller version can house 32GB of internal memory, which can be in addition to 2GB of RAM, while the phablet can support 3GB of RAM and therefore the internal memory are going to be double. The processor will be an Intel, however we’re waiting a confirmation from Microsoft.
The front camera will be 5MP on both variants, however it will be combined with 8MP or 13MP, and therefore the rear camera can sit in the upper left corner. The connectivity options can include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP and GPS, and therefore the device can include a microUSB v2.0 port.
